Staff was pleasant and nice.
Dr. Botha recommends medications and ointments but very little medical knowledge.
I had to remind her of my previous visit as she did not read my record thoroughly
Don't go here, they clearly don't care about patients and are neglectful! I had my first mole mapping and biopsy done here back at the beginning of September. I was told I would have my results ready in 2 weeks, and I could get my stitches out all in the same appt. The dermatologist was nice and the front desk too. But here is where it all goes south. I was told that they only have an hour window allotted per day for stitch removal and result appointments starting at 8am. I'm deep SE and trying to get to them during heavy traffic took me forever, and I was going to miss the appt. I called to say hey sorry, traffic was terrible and I'm lost and frustrated for missing my appt. The younger receptionist then told me that they were booked for the rest of the week and couldn't fit me in, and that I would have had to go to a walk in office to get my stitches removed. Then I asked if I could have the nurse call me later with my results, and was told no. The receptionist said that they only give then in the hour opening at 8am. I told her that it doesn't work with my schedule, because that's when I'm getting into work and my morning is packed with running around then off to work. She told me that sorry but that's all they could do. I said I think that's odd that they office wouldn't be willing to work with me. Then I was met with a rude and curt tone asked so when would you like us to phone you? I said in the afternoon, and I got a rude response asking what time. I said whenever they can call I will have my phone by me. She then reaffirmed what time, and I got frustrated with the attitude. Here I am calling to give a heads up I'm going to miss my appointment because of the horrible traffic, and I'm being met with this rude tone for no reason. I said I'm currently driving, don't have my schedule for the day in front of me and would call back. But if they could try and call that would be great. I received a fine, have a good day and was hung up on. Had my family doctor access the results a week after I was supposed to get my results and thank God nothing showed abnormal!! It's November 5th and still no call from them with my results. That is completely negligent on their part. Your responsibility is to take care of your patients well being and you have failed! Having a window of only an hour is not realistic and run poorly with the fact of not doing their due diligence to providing patients proper care. You are health professionals!! Start acting like it and do better! I'd get it if I was being equally as rude on the phone and was being a terrible patient - to an extent - but I wasn't. I don't deserve that type of treatment and will not come back to your establishment and highly recommend people go elsewhere as well.
