Madison Medical Affiliates

For the past three years, Dr. Varghese has been my internist, doing my annual physical exams. He’s an outstanding doctor, and his nurse is exceptional as well. His scheduling assistant is also very professional and efficient. Dr. Varghese is extraordinarily thorough and positive, the type of person who takes the time to explain everything about how he evaluates my health. He shows me what every number on my blood work results means, and he’ll do another test if warranted after our discussion. He’ll also stop and listen when I have something to tell him, then look at everything again to be sure he hasn’t missed anything. As for the practice in general, the people who draw my blood have been efficient and positive. I’ve enjoyed conversations with them. The reception people at the front desk haven’t always been as energetic in welcoming me, but that has improved after I wished them a good day or a happy holiday. You get what you give, I suppose, but it would be better if the first person I saw seemed happier to see me. Still, I’m not really there to make a friend. I can’t imagine feeling more comfortable with and more confident in Dr. Varghese and his medical staff. This time, they started me using MyChart online to communicate with the doctor directly about test results and updates on my progress with goals. It saves us all a lot of time lost with phone calls. I’m very happy about my decision to pick Madison Medical.
