Dr. Shane Silver, FRCPC, is a board-certified dermatologist with a medical degree from the University of Manitoba. He furthered his education by completing dermatology residencies at the University of British Columbia and the University of Manitoba. He is currently appointed to the University of Manitoba dermatology department to teach residents and medical students. Dr. Silver has over 50 publications in peer-reviewed textbooks and medical journals. He regularly lectures at Continuing Medical Education for doctors and was awarded the Educator of the year Award. He has been an examiner at the Royal College since 2005. At Academy Skin Centre, a new state-of-the-art facility created by Dr. Silver, we strive to provide superior dermatologic treatment to all patients who visit our clinic.
