Every day, politicians and doctors crowd the airwaves and tell us what we can or should do. And Albertans have risen up each day to make their voices heard. This is exactly what many individuals perceive. Their perspective of the world has also changed. Many individuals are terrified to leave their homes for any cause. We do not accept the concept that seeing Dr. Gordon Searles should be an alternative.

Our .02.
This is by far the worst experience. The people that work for Dr. Gordon Searles have absolutely no moral compass. Their ethics are as questionable as their attitude. I own a business as well, I understand things happen, but the mindset of these people in appalling.
My 84 year old mother was referred to this doctor’s office by the UofA hospital. She recently started suffering from Bullous Pemphigoid. This is where the body attacks your skin.
My wife took my mother to her appointment at 12:30 on August 25, 2023, after the appointment we were told by the nurse they did not have the time to write the prescription while she was there, but it would be faxed to the pharmacy prior to the end of business that day.
I called twice on Friday to follow up and was forced to leave 2 messages. On Monday morning I called again at 7:34am, left another message and again at 8:04 where I had the misfortune of interrupting Gloria who felt the need to emphasize that they close early on Fridays for the weekend.
Common sense would dictate you would send out ALL the prescriptions prior taking the weekend off, specially if you're telling people you don't have time to write them while they are there.
My mother cried all weekend, it broke my heart, the nurses sent the attached pictures I have included one to outline the severity of the situation.
After 2 more phone calls and a pile of attitude they finally get the prescription set to the pharmacy at 10:37AM on August 28, 2023.
To add insult to injury, I get a follow-up call from Trista trying to vindicate the experience as being a good one.
I would not recommend darkening the doorstep of this office.
As I finish typing this the ambulance is currently taking my mother to the hospital.
